Kim Thiemann - Founder of Aloha Yoga & Healing

Kim first starting practicing yoga in 2008 while living in Hawai'i.  She immediately fell in love with yoga, and the way it made her feel both mentally and physically.  She has completed her RYT 200 hour Barkan Method level 1 and RYT 80 hour Barkan Vinyasa Level 2/3.  She has also attended various workshops, including ones with well-known yogis Baron Baptiste and Seane Corn.  Kim is attuned by Reiki master Maria Kramer to the first and second degree of the Usui Shiro Ryoho Reiki method of natural healing.  She often uses healing crystals and Reiki in her yoga classes. Kim has graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and is a Certified Health Coach.  She also attended Ayurveda's World AADP 150 hour Accredited Ayurvedic Nutrition Study Program and become a certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor.  Ayurveda is the sister science to yoga, the world's oldest healing science which literally means "knowledge of life."  Kim meditates daily and writes her own meditations that she shares in her yoga classes.  Kim believes a healthy lifestyle that includes a regular practice of yoga is life-changing and empowering in the most positive of ways.

"May the vibration of love be carried with you throughout your days.  May you be happy, may you be healthy, and may you be at peace.  The Divine within you is the Divine within me. Namaste."

Paul Reece

In 2007 yoga became an indispensable part of Pauls life.  The physical changes were the objective. They came quickly.  Sciatic pain was gone. Strength and agility returned. The emotional changes occurred  and were even more amazing as they were not expected. Not honking the horn out of annoyance anymore was the first sign.  Compassion and empathy grew leading to the next unexpected surprise. The spiritual awakening and the awareness of that we are all one.  Having so much admiration for his teachers he decided to learn more about yoga by taking a 200 hour teacher training with Always At Aum yoga school. Graduating in May 2014 with no intensions of teaching he was offered a teaching job at the school immediately.  The love of teaching grew and is currently completing his 300 hour training. Paul is certified in Reiki level 1 & 2  He is also certified  to teach children and hot yoga.

Amber Kuchler

Amber’s kind and soothing manner are well suited to leading students of all types. Through her teaching she looks to share the healing she has found in yoga both on and off the mat.

Cheryl DelloRusso

Cheryl began her yoga journey in 2016 at Aloha Yoga and Healing. What she thought would be a physical exercise quickly became so much more. Through her practice she began to understand the ability that we have within us to transform, heal, and grow. In 2018 Cheryl completed her 200 hour teacher training at Aloha Yoga and Healing under the instruction of the studios founder, Kimberly Hoebeler. Teaching became a way for Cheryl to express her creativity, compassion, and sense of humor. Cheryl believes that through yoga we are able to create a deeper connection within ourselves, embrace each day and the beauty that life holds, and create a world filled with loving kindness.

River is a certified yoga instructor and reiki master/teacher. Developing a meditation practice at the age of 12, River knew there was something deeper in life to be shared. Their goal is to help others walk mindfully through their path and encourage positive self-growth. After completing the 200-Hour yoga teacher training program at the Yoga Darshana Center, River had began teaching classes that incorporate asana, pranayama, chanting, meditation and yogic philosophy. Their classes focus on experiencing what it means to be in the body, noticing the movement of the breath from pose to pose, and loosening the attachment of the ego. Yoga is for everyone and River makes all poses accessible to all students through use of props and modifications. As a non-binary person, they create a warm and welcoming environment with all inclusive languaging, trauma-sensitive awareness, and connecting to the students.

Caitlin Holtslag

After graduating from University of Hawaii in 2008, Caitlin took a few years exploring the globe before settling back in her hometown in Long Island. She was originally drawn to the challenging yet gentle practice of yoga after an injury put high impact exercise on hold. With in a few months she was enthralled with the spiritual aspects of the ancient practice as well. Caitlin completed her teacher training at Emerge Yoga and Wellness in 2012. Her classes are a fun mix of different yoga disciplines, with the main emphasis on vinyasa. She completed an 85 hour prenatal yoga certification in 2014 at Breathe n Flow Yoga, and 30 hour Yin certification in 2016. Caitlin is also a first degree reiki practitioner, with aspirations to continue to learn and grow in all aspects of life. Becoming a mother has been the greatest journey and learning experience of all, and the importance of yoga has never been clearer.

Dakota Mullins

Dakota graduated from Ayah's 200 hr YTT August 2018.  Dakota has been practicing yoga for years, but what made her want to pursue teaching was learning that holding poses longer than 5 minutes allows the body’s fascia to let go. In her work as a massage therapist for the past four years, she has focused on Myofascial Release. She feels that restorative yoga and yin classes help release the fascia and allow the bodies to naturally heal itself. With her massage background, her adjustments are Divine ! "I just want everyone to leave my class feeling relaxed and loved."
